Associated Luxury Hotels International 2015 Showcase

On the evening of May 20th I attended a beautiful showcase hosted by ALHI – Associated Luxury Hotels International – at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. ALHI is a Global Sales Organization dedicated to working with meeting professionals, association managers, incentive specialists, and business executives across North America. ALHI’s portfolio is comprised of luxury level independent hotels and resorts.

This event gave ALHI members the opportunity to engage in discussion with potential clients, to showcase their newly renovated properties, inform individuals what amenities their property offers – all while enjoying a friendly and upbeat environment with delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. I had the chance to participate in conversation with hotel representatives from California – to Dallas – even extending all the way to Bermuda. The host of the event, Susan Stryker, Director of Sales for ALHI, has been a great partner for over 10 years. I also had the opportunity to meet the President of ALHI; Jim Schultenover, who has been in the industry for 36 years.

Ultimately, the event flowed seamlessly from the moment we arrived, to the moment that we left. As a special gift for each individual who attended – Maui Jim’s were distributed, along with other fantastic giveaways throughout the evening. The ultimate gift was a diamond pendant which is given out every year to a special person, randomly chosen at the end of the night. This event was enjoyed by all, and will be remembered.
