Boston now has three convention centers, the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, which opened in 2004, is a technologically advanced convention facility located eight minutes from Logan International Airport. The John B. Hynes Veteran Memorial Convention Center, located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood recently completed a $30 million update featuring new interior design and technology upgrades. The Seaport World Trade Center’s Commonwealth Hall is the largest facility of its kind in Boston. Boston’s meetings hotels run the gamut from big brand names to boutique style properties. Should you find your company attending a trade show in Boston in the upcoming months, Greater Boston has no shortage of unique event areas and sites for your special events. Area’s for special events include Boston’s Back Bay because it is a great area for dining and nightlife. Boston’s Chinatown is the third largest Chinatown in the United States, coming in behind New York (Manhattan) and San Francisco.
